Karla Dial “writes” for Focus on the “Family” Citizen Link which gives her the opportunity to display her rather mediocre intellect     honed at the mediocre New Mexico State University.

The best advice I can offer anyone is that whatever you do, do your
best. Give your heart to the Lord, and let Him orchestrate your
steps—and then stand back and watch as He creates art out of your life.

Apparently, her own advice not only didn’t work for her but managed to obliterate whatever intellectual curiosity that she might have once had. But I digress.

Call equal rights for LGBT people special rights and you’ll hear from me!

Ms. Dial wrote a polemic titled State Bill Would Overturn Special-Rights Ordinance. She continues:

Three pieces of legislation pending in Michigan are causing a lot of
controversy on both sides of the debate over special rights for people
who are gay or transgender.

One is HB 5039, sponsored by Republican state Rep. Tom McMillin. The
bill, which is currently pending in the House Judiciary Committee, would
repeal a Kalamazoo city ordinance adopted in 2009 extending special
rights to homosexual and transgender people in housing, employment and
public accommodations.

She uses the phrase special rights several more times. So I guess that prohibiting discrimination in housing, employment and public accommodations because one happens to be a Christianist is similarly a special right. Strange how they don’t want that part eliminated. Isn’t it?

Isn’t it about time that these folks dropped the intellectually dishonest semantics?
