Apparently, Mr. Caton is not fond of my calling his tax return into question. I filed a referral with the Internal Revenue Service on December 14. I am content to let them sort out whether or not Mr. Caton is using Florida Family Association as his personal tax shelter. In an email, purportedly from Caton, he writes:
Subject: Legal action
Dear Mr. Hart,
The information that you posted on slowlyboiledfrog.com regarding Florida Family Association, Inc. is patently false. The language that you used in your email posted below is malicious. Your malice coupled with libelous statements is legally actionable.
If you do not remove these libelous statements from slowlyboiledfrog.com the next time you hear from us will be by a deputy serving you with notice of a lawsuit.
David Caton, President
What I find remarkable about all of this is that this nitwit runs a one-man hate factory spewing lies about gays, Muslims and whomever else he doesn’t like. The hypocrisy is stunning. Needless to say, I am not terribly concerned.
