American Family Association is known for its bloviating bigots like Bryan Fischer and Buster Wilson. While much attention is paid to the likes of Fischer and Wilson, These imbeciles only exist as they do because AFA puts them on a  stage with a loud microphone.

AFA is not a hate group because of Bryan Fisher     AFA employs Bryan Fischer because they are a hate group.

Perhaps nothing drives this home as much as their recent reaction to a JC Penney commercial that features Ellen Degeneres. According to AFA/OMM:

Since April, JC Penney’s has not aired Ellen DeGeneres in one of their commercials until now. A new JCP ad features Ellen and three elves. JCP has made their choice to offend a huge majority of their customers again. Christians must now vote with their wallets.

In other words, the mere presence of a gay person offends AFA and, if you believe them, it offends a “huge majority of their customers.” If anything is likely to offend a majority of JC Penney’s customers, it is the hateful, empty-headed rhetoric of AFA.
