Over the summer, our friend, Rick (man-on-dog) Santorum, started a new job as the CEO of EchoLight studios, a Christian oriented family film maker. I don’t know if Santorum has actually run anything before. It wouldn’t appear so.
In September, Santorum terminated chief global strategist Christopher Morrow, and president, Robert Downes. Both of these guys supposedly disparaged Santorum and were insubordinate. Shocking I know. Morrow, it seems, has a number of films in post-production that were financed by EchoLight.
Morrow is refusing to provide the company with a financial accounting, particularly for a film called Hoovey. Moreover, both of these guys have been sabotaging business relationships with other films. At one point, someone hijacked some company Facebook pages, locking out EchoLight management.
The whole mess has now ended up in court in Tarrant County, Texas.
