The Privacy for All Students
PAC was originally organized to oppose California’s AB1266, a
transgender protection act that Jerry Brown signed into law last August
(effective January 1, 2014). Now they are trying to gather signatures to
get a repeal initiative on the 2014 ballot. Should they get the
required signatures, NOM’s political
director, Frank Schubert, will manage the campaign. Schubert does not believe that transgender people exist.
As of today, the group has raised $255,000. Almost 60% of that has come from one donor, Sean Fieler, who has provided the PAC with $150,000.
