American Vision observes that conservative Christians out-breed liberals. That is probably true. Religious conservatives do tend to have more kids. According to other sources they cite, pro-lifers have 20% to 27% more children per family than pro-choice advocates. That sounds reasonable even though they have not accounted for the fact that pro-choicers outnumber anti-choicers. I won’t quibble with the Christian mathematics. Their conclusions are another matter:
If we extend the civilization-killing paradigm to same-sex sexuality and Islam, we see that it does not look good for the future of these ideologies. It’s true that some homosexuals adopt, but it’s not enough to make a difference. Homosexuals are all about recruitment and intimidation. They can only win by forcing compliance.
Obviously, sexual orientation is not an ideology. The preposterous “recruitment” idea is not even worth comment anymore and conservatives manage to crank out as many gay kids as liberals. Just ask Dick Cheney, Phyllis Schlafly or Beverly LeHaye. In fact, conservatives probably have a higher percentage of gay children (at least gay males) than their liberal counterparts.
It is called the male sibling effect and it is probably the most accurate predictor of male sexuality known to science. It’s quite simple really. Each successive male child, born of the same birth mother, has a higher probability of being gay than his older brother or brothers. Larger families produce more male children. More male children means a higher percentage of gay males. Ergo, conservative Christians crank out more gay kids per family. Chances are pretty good that Brian Brown (National Organization for Marriage) has at least one gay son.
