I am unable to come up with a legitimate scenario to explain how Joseph Backholm selected some
obscure guy in Fullerton California—with no discernible experience—to accomplish the campaign’s primary objective. Nearly $150,000 was paid to an individual, not a company. Indeed, he failed to gather enough signatures and the venture failed.

It has the appearance of a straw contractor designed to line Backholm’s pockets. Backholm has not responded to email.
