Hate group: World Congress of Families

Today I received an email from Brian S. Brown titled: “Honestly, I am concerned.” This, by the way, was from Brown as leader of the Hate Group, World Congress of Families. I would be less confused if WCF would merge with National Organization for Marriage because the rhetoric is the same. Moreover, one of their sites is rather fucked up. Here is some of what has become boilerplate or, as I call it, recycled BS:

honestly, I’m concerned

The World Congress of Families (WCF) has been blessed with an incredible gift — every contribution we receive will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to a total of $40,000.

That’s the good news.

The bad news is that this offer will expire in just eight days and I am honestly concerned that we are going to fall far short of raising what we need.

Nobody has done more to promote the natural family around the globe than the World Congress of Families. We are on the front lines day in and day out: From convening and organizing world-class Congresses and regional events, to co-sponsoring major conferences on critical issues, to our work in the UN and other international bodies, and to shining a spotlight on important new analysis and research about family issues through publications such as our scholarly journal, The Natural Family: An International Journal of Research and Policy.

Promote the natural family means to denigrate families headed by same-sex parents. There are reasons that Southern Poverty Law Center has designated WCF a hate group.

Apparently Mr. Brown is also confused because WCF calls that blog: The Family in America, A Journal Of Public Policy. Or do they have two journals? And it might be a blog if there was any content. However, it won’t be either “scholarly” or a “journal,” as Brown claims, in the absence of peer review. That site, needs some work (demonstrating yet again that Brian Brown is possessed of Reverse-Midas). They cannot seem to decide on the name of this thing:

Middle Column: What is this thing called?
Right Column – Lorem ipsum homosexual
Left Column to nowhere
