Ted Baehr
Honestly, does anyone give a rat’s ass about Ted Baehr’s Movieguide awards?

Ted Baehr, writing as the Christian Film and Television Commission, provides us with: You Won’t Believe What the LGBT Agenda Has Done to ‘Little Women’. Oh do tell Teddy:

The children’s book, Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy is a modern retelling of the Little Women story that was first published 150 years ago. The modern retelling changes the racial makeup of the characters, which is fine. Where it goes off the rails is by making Jo, the second oldest of the sisters, a lesbian.

Oh my. The world will cease to exist. I would remind Mr. Baehr that only a few decades ago changing the racial makeup of the characters would not have been fine. Society progresses while conservative Christians are sometimes stuck somewhere in the second century CE. That is, until they get sick. Then they are trying to figure out, by last name, which doctors are Jewish as they seek state-of-the-art medical science. But I digress.

The author of the new book, Rey Terciero, said, “Jo is my favorite, so I wanted to play with the subtext that may not have been available 150 years ago, but that we can speak openly about these days. Being LGBT myself, I’m just happy to be creating a book that I wish I could have read as a young reader.”

More and more, publishers are inserting sexual identity messages and agendas in books that are used in schools, libraries and readily available online as well. For families with Christian worldviews, this is troubling and worrying, especially when these publishers are twisting classic literature to promote their own political and ideological agenda.

Yes indeed. Undoubtedly the revision will cause lesbianism to just soar across the nation at an unprecedented rate. Eventually gay men and women will outnumber heterosexuals and society will come to an end because we will run out of baby making pairs.

The best part is this:

The Christian Film and Television Commission put together a petition to stop the release. You can view it here.

So let me see if I understand this. Publishers will now require Mr. Baehr’s approval before they can sell a book?

The petition is to the CEO of Hachette Book Group. I am certain that he will be very impressed

Ted Baehr regularly makes a fool of himself. Behold his handiwork:

CALL ME BY YOUR NAME is a graphic, loathsome homosexual drama set in 1983 that fantasizes a 17-year-old boy wants to have a serious sexual affair with an older 25-year-old man working for his father. CALL ME BY YOUR NAME presumes that it’s a profound movie about a homosexual relationship, but it actually shows the roots of pedophilia and lust that are the true nature of homosexual perversion and same-sex attraction.

What a classless schmuck!
