I did try my Evangelical Christian-to-English app.
It did not work.
Wednesday, hate group leader Tony Perkins (Family Research Council) sent out a money-grub titled: “Tell Congress not to pass the very bad, no good infrastructure ‘deal’ with radical gender ideology attached!”
These imbeciles can call a medical condition “gender ideology” until their knees break from prayer. It doesn’t make it so. Moreover, it is a deliberate lie to suggest that people whose sexuality Perkins disapproves of are adherents to some sort of doctrine. It is projection.
According to the text:
… we anticipate an almost immediate vote in the House of Representatives on the infrastructure bill that we’ve been warning contains a poison pill provision that inserts a radical ideology on sexual orientation and gender identity into federal statute.
“Tony Perkins is not very good with diversity. So who is really trying to dismantle American Family Life?'”
Were that true, would Perkins not cite the specifics? He does not. Moreover, Perkins isn’t done:
In the Senate, 18 Republicans voted with Democrats for the infrastructure “deal” that paved the way for Biden to enact a major portion of his progressive agenda to fund abortion and dismantle American family life.
What is it that connects the infrastructure bill to abortion? Furthermore, Perkins defines family as a group of related people who are:
- Christian (preferably evangelical Baptist)
- Opposed to abortion
What percentage of the nation does that apply to? We are a diverse society. Tony Perkins is not very good with diversity. So who is really trying “to dismantle American Family Life?”
